‘Loliwe’ hit-maker, South Africa’s Zahara finally arrived in Malawi on Saturday afternoon ahead of her concert at Comesa Hall in Blantyre.
The singer, who will also be performing at Cresta Crossroads Hotel in the capital city Lilongwe on Sunday, told Nyasa Times that she is happy to be back in Malawi.
This will be the second time for the sensational guitarist to perform in the southern African country following her previous show in the capital last September.
“I’m looking forward to a great stay and performances in Malawi. It’s an amazing thing to be back,” Zahara said upon arrival at Chileka International Airport around noon.

She is joined by her manager and her eight-member band.
And commenting on Zahara’s arrival, Mango Entertainment director Steve Kamanga, whose company has brought in the singer, said: “Am excited she’s finally here.”
He added: “ Malawians couldn’t believe we could pull this but finally she has landed. We are looking forward to great shows, in Blantyre tonight and in Lilongwe tomorrow.”
Some of the local artists to curtain-raise the two shows are Dan Lu, Edgar ndi Davis and Maskal in Blantyre while in Lilongwe she will perform alongside Lulu and the Black Missionaries.
