Victor Mpinganjira delivered a clinical brace and Gerald Phiri Junior scored one in a 3-0 winfor Mighty Wanderers against relegated Escom United to enable the Blues to climb back into top four of the TNM Super League in a match played before a big crowd at Kamuzu Stadium on Sunday.
From kick off, well drilled Nomads went on attack and force the electricians to play in their own territory for a good 30 minutes.
The Nomads, who missed the services of their two key players Moses ‘Luba’ Chavula and Foster ‘Zagaf’ Namwera, converted their first goal in the 15th minute through their man of the moment Mpinganjira before he netted the second goal.
Escom’s Issac Nyakamera nearly scored in the 36th minute but he drove a weak shot which goalkeeper Richard Chipuwa easily tamed for the Nomads to lead 2-0 at half time.

Nomads extended their lead 15 minutes into the second half through Gerald Phiri Jnr after he was put clear by Mike Kaziputa.With Sunday’s victory, the Nomads are still on the fourth slot with 45 points.
The Nomads assistant coach Albert Mpinganjira hailed his charges for their victory while Escom United caretaker Kondwani Gawani said they were unlucky not to score any goal.
